Arlan Fonseca is a Boston-based photographer. At the age of 19, Arlan struggled to discover what career he wanted to pursue. After trying different career paths he found his way to studying videography in Media and Communications. When seeking better video equipment, he fell upon being introduced to a camera in downtown Boston where he discovered his interest in photography. While playing around with the camera, he began to see the influence photography had on his growth in videography. He saw strength in his videos as they are essentially several photographs rapidly played after one another to create motion picture. With this discovery, he began focusing in photography to capture the beauty of a moment. Arlan finds that his successes in photography stem from his passion he has for capturing the world around him and bringing a moment to life through his lens.
